1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to UrgentMate.
UrgentMate is a technology platform that connects homeowners with independent tradies for urgent repair services. By accessing or using the UrgentMate platform, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM
UrgentMate is not a provider of trade services.
UrgentMate:
- Connects users with independent tradies
- Facilitates payments
- Provides support in disputes
All services are performed by independent tradies, not UrgentMate.

3. USER ACCOUNTS
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your account secure
- Not share your login details
UrgentMate may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.

4. BOOKINGS AND SERVICES
When you request a job:
- Your request is sent to available tradies
- A tradie may accept the job
- You enter a direct agreement with that tradie
UrgentMate is not responsible for:
- Work quality
- Timelines
- Outcomes of services

5. PAYMENTS
Payments are processed via Stripe.
By using UrgentMate, you agree:
- Payments may be held until job completion
- Platform fees apply
- Refunds are subject to our Refund & Dispute Policy

6. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation policies may apply depending on:
- Timing
- Tradie availability
- Work already commenced
Fees may be charged in certain cases.

7. LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
UrgentMate is not liable for:
- Damage caused by tradies
- Service delays
- Losses arising from platform use
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

8. USER CONDUCT
You agree not to:
- Misuse the platform
- Harass tradies or users
- Provide false information
UrgentMate may suspend accounts for violations.
